Flying Training
Inverell Aviation has taught hundreds of people from the local area and abroad to fly in recreational and commercial capacities over their 39 years in operation. CFI, John Newby, has over 25,000 hours logged and an esteemed reputation amongst flying enthusiasts, past and present students and aviation professionals alike for his high level of education and training.
Inverell Aviation’s core fleet of aircraft consist of a Cessna 172, Beechcraft Baron E55 and a American Champion Super Decathlon. All are available for flying training, private hire, scenic or joyflights. Flying Training is not limited to these aircraft as Inverell Aviation are able to cross-hire various aircraft and/or train you in your aircraft.

Beechcraft Baron E55
The Beechcraft Baron is a light, twin-engined piston aircraft developed by Beechcraft. The Baron is a variant of the Travel Air, and was introduced in 1961. Since its inception, the Baron has always been near the top of the light airplane hierarchy. Sporting our signature paint scheme, our Baron E55 is the premium mode of air charter travel.

Cessna 172
The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is a four-seat, single-engine, high wing, fixed-wing aircraft made by the Cessna Aircraft Company. Super Decathlon
The Super Decathlon is a two-seat fixed conventional gear light airplane designed for flight training and personal use and capable of sustaining aerobatic stresses between +6g and -5g. Our aircraft sports a stunning paint scheme that makes for a striking aerobatic display. CFI, John Newby and son, Michael, have won several Aerobatic Championships in this aircraft.
